Job summary

Advocate Health in Winston-Salem, NC seeks a Physical Therapist to provide patient care in the Outpatient Rehabilitation department, with a focus on Women’s Health. You will assess, plan, implement, and document treatments, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a PT degree (B.S., M.S., or D.P.T), active NC licensure, and CPR/BLS Level C certification. Full-time hours, with standard 8-5 weekdays and one half-day Saturday every 8 weeks.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited physical therapy school (B.S., M.S., or D.P.T).
• Current licensure in the state of North Carolina.
• CPR certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) Level C.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessment and treatment with comprehensive evaluations and realistic goals.
• Maintains accurate documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and discharge notes.
• Meets department productivity and budget expectations and adjusts schedules as needed.
• Participates in process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency of services.
• Promotes professional development and shares clinical expertise with staff and students.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team to ensure understanding.
