Job summary

VCU Health Chesterfield Pavilion is seeking an Orthopedic Tech to assist with casts, splints and other DME in an outpatient setting under the supervision of a licensed practitioner. The role includes patient and family teaching and maintaining supplies in the cast room.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and BLS certification. OTC certification is preferred, and prior outpatient clinic experience is a plus. Schedules may rotate; compensation ranges from $18.39 to $28.51 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS Certification required.
• OTC certification preferred.
• Outpatient/clinical setting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply casts, splints and other DME under supervision.
• Provide patient and family teaching to a diverse patient population.
• Order and maintain supplies in the cast room.
• Work under supervision and follow hospital policies and procedures.
