Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• CPR certification and any other relevant certifications as required by state regulations.
• Strong clinical skills with experience in orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric physical therapy (preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' functional abilities, limitations, and goals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments and goals, utilizing various therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Implement and administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to improve mobility, strength, flexibility, and function.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about therapy procedures, home exercises, and injury prevention techniques; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Stay updated on advancements in physical therapy techniques and integrate them as appropriate.
• Meet the needs of having patients execute Plan of Care and following up with patients if needed.
• Be a team player to utilize nonclinical staff to support caseloads.
• Delegate and use a Physical Therapy Assistant where applicable.
• Support a collaborative culture aligned with our service vision.
• Adapt to changes in patient schedules and daily patterns.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments to determine therapy needs and establish treatment goals.
