Job summary

Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our outpatient therapy team, treating orthopedic and general physical therapy populations and delivering patient-centered care close to home.

You will examine, diagnose, and plan care, applying treatments to improve mobility and reduce pain, with a typical caseload including total knee and hip post-op, sprains/strains, back pain, and shoulder injuries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA-approved program.
• Active Wisconsin Physical Therapist license.
• Current BLS for Health Care Providers.
• Experience with outpatient ortho patients preferred.
• OCS credential desired and encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Examine, evaluate, diagnose, prognose and intervene to improve mobility and function.
• Develop plans of care and deliver treatment techniques to reduce pain.
• Collaborate with referring providers and clinical staff for coordinated care.
