Job summary

Neighborhood Healthcare seeks an Oral Surgeon/Exodontist to provide outpatient oral surgery services, including complex tooth extractions and biopsies. You will lead dental assistants, hygienists, and staff, ensure high-quality patient care, and manage follow-up care and education.

The role includes supervision responsibilities, anesthesia administration, and adherence to credentialing and continuing education requirements, with a focus on compassionate care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) or Dental Surgery (DDS) from an accredited school.
• Post-doctoral Oral Surgery Residency certificate required for oral surgeons.
• Proven experience as an Oral Surgeon or Exodontist, prefer 2+ years.
• Valid DEA license required.
• Current BLS certification required upon hire with AHA-approved source.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise dental team to ensure smooth patient care and treatment coordination.
• Perform advanced oral surgery procedures including extraction of impacted teeth and biopsy of jaw/mouth.
• Administer anesthesia and manage post-operative care and patient education.
• Maintain credentialing, licensure, and continuing education requirements.
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives.
