Job summary

Neighborhood Healthcare is seeking an experienced Oral Surgeon/Exodontist to provide outpatient oral surgery services, including complex extractions and tumor/cyst removal, within a mission-driven community health setting in Riverside, CA. The role requires leadership of dental teams, supervision of staff, and collaboration across clinical teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate holds a DMD/DDS with an accredited post‑doctoral oral surgery residency, a valid California

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Dental Medicine (DMD) or Dental Surgery (DDS) from an accredited school - required
• Certificate from an accredited post‑doctoral US Oral Surgery Residency Program – required for oral surgeons
• Proven experience as an Oral Surgeon or Exodontist - prefer a minimum 2 years
• Valid CA Dental License - required
• Valid DEA license required
• Current BLS certification per AHA guidelines

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient oral surgery services including complex tooth extractions and biopsy/removal of tumors or cysts
• Lead dental team to ensure smooth patient care and treatment coordination
• Handle clinical administration such as billing, credentialing, and documentation
• Maintain compliance with safety, HIPAA, and infection control procedures
• Participate in quality improvement and training activities
