Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for outpatient oncology care in Breast, GI, GU, Head & Neck-Endocrine and Radiation Oncology clinics. You will triage calls and deliver individualized patient care in accordance with hospital guidelines and ANA ethics.

Ideal candidates have Radiation Oncology experience in outpatient settings, strong assessment skills, and flexibility to work evenings as needed.

Qualifications

• BSN from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution with at least one year of relevant experience or ASN with 1 year of relevant experience
• FL RN License
• BLS and ACLS Certification
• NPDB-related disclosures must be reviewed before employment

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate the care of cancer patients and families
• Provides patient education based on learning needs
• Participates in evidence-based improvement activities related to area of practice
• Engages in professional development aligned with nursing standards and regulatory requirements
