Job summary

Under the general direction of the COO at Summit Cancer Care, the Effingham Cancer Care Center Nurse Manager oversees day-to-day operations of the practice for efficiency and supervises personnel. The Nurse Manager works hand in hand with Effingham Health System (EHS) leadership and staff to ensure a cohesive and positive environment for staff and patients.

Qualifications

• Oncology nursing experience preferred.
• Healthcare leadership/management experience required.
• Direct patient nursing care experience is expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations for efficiency and supervise personnel.
• Lead by example to foster a positive teamwork environment aligned with SCC and EHS values.
• Cover scheduling, phlebotomy, and patient coordination roles as needed during staff shortages.
