Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University Medical Center in Town & Country, MO, is seeking a Part-Time Oncology/Medical Nursing role providing direct patient care during 8-hour day shifts (M-F). 24 hours per week at the MoBap Campus, with oncology-specific responsibilities and chemo-certification preferred.

Minimum qualifications include RN licensure and a Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree; a Bachelor's degree is preferred and less than 2 years of experience is supported.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required.
• Nursing diploma or associate degree required.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Experience: <2 years preferred.
• No supervisor experience required.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patient and family.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care.
• This is a safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe performance.
