Position Overview

This full-time position primarily serves our Community Cancer Center in Augusta and supports the Emily Couric Clinical Center in Charlottesville. It offers both on-site and remote work opportunities. Ideal for those interested in oncology nutrition, building strong interdisciplinary relationships, and working closely with patients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide medical nutrition therapy including assessment, diet modification, education, and intervention.
2. Follow all guidelines outlined within the Company Diet Manual and Policies & Procedures Manual.
3. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, confidentiality, HIPAA, and patient rights.
4. Train and mentor staff and interns as applicable.
5. Participate in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

1. Registered Dietitian credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
2. State licensure where required.
3. One year of hospital experience preferred.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, electronic medical records, and nutrient analysis software.
