Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is seeking a dedicated Oncology Case Manager for our Oncology Clinics. The role supports physicians and APPs in education, scheduling and triage across the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center, Village Pointe, and Bellevue Cancer Clinic.

This full-time, 1.0 FTE exempt position offers Monday–Friday 8AM–5PM with one day per week remote work. Requires a BSN, 3+ years nursing, strong communication, and Nebraska RN licensure; BLS is mandatory; PALS may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years nursing experience.
• BSN required.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and make independent clinical judgments.
• Experience with basic patient care equipment and policy/procedure manuals.
• Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.
• BLS certification required (AHA endorsed).
• PALS may be required depending on department.

Responsibilities

• Case management for a designated patient group to achieve high-quality, cost-effective outcomes across the continuum of care.
• Coordinate education, scheduling and triage for patient messages and calls.
• Collaborate with physicians and APPs to support patient-centered care.
