Job summary

North Country Healthcare is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, general and complex medical conditions in inpatient and/or outpatient settings. Care plans focus on functional outcomes using ADLs, therapeutic activities, exercise, manual techniques and modalities.

The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and eligibility for NH licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
• Must be eligible for licensure to practice occupational therapy in the State of New Hampshire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, general and complex medical conditions in inpatient and/or outpatient settings.
• Base evaluations and treatments on functional outcomes using ADLs, therapeutic activities, exercise, manual techniques, and modalities.
• Ensure documentation, policies and regulatory requirements are followed and physician orders are implemented.
• Collaborate with other staff to promote patient care, service quality and timely workflow.
• Demonstrate professionalism, patient safety, and respectful communication with patients and families.
