Job summary

North Country Healthcare seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, general and complex medical conditions in inpatient and/or outpatient settings, focusing on functional outcomes and daily living activities.

The role requires NH licensure eligibility, completion of evaluations and treatment plans, patient documentation, discharge planning, and collaboration with the care team; supervision of learners is included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution with a curriculum approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
• Must be eligible for licensure to practice occupational therapy in the State of New Hampshire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with functional disabilities to achieve optimal functional performance.
• Administer therapy and document evaluations, plans, and progress in a timely manner.
• Contribute to discharge planning and home program referrals.
• Participate in student affiliation training programs and provide therapy as prescribed.
