UofL Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist I (Outpatient) to evaluate and treat patients referred to the facility. The role includes developing and implementing treatment plans, delivering therapies, and planning for discharge.

You will work as part of a team and contribute to department goals while ensuring compliance and high-quality care. Essential duties include evaluation, treatment modification, goal communication, and collaboration with physicians and therapy customers.

Qualifikationen

• Licensed or eligible in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Occupational Therapy.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Aufgaben

• Evaluates and treats outpatient patients with a plan aimed at maximizing functional independence.
• Develops and implements treatment plans and conducts regular re-assessments.
• Communicates patient status and goals to physicians and therapy customers.
• Monitors costs and provides cost-effective treatment options.
• Ensures proper clinical documentation and billing compliance.
• Supervises rehab technicians, therapy assistants, and students as applicable.
• Participates in program development, performance improvement activities, and community events.
