Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days – American Heart Association (AHA).
• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT).
• Bachelor’s Degree: Occupational Therapy (Required).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates ability to assist with patient transfers from bed, chair, or floor.
• Uses safe body mechanics and designs plans of care with goals, treatment and discharge.
• Educates patients, families, and caregivers using clear teaching methods.
• Performs examinations and selects valid methods to determine diagnoses and outcomes.
• Documents evaluations and plans of care according to policy and regulatory standards.
• Communicates progress and discharge needs with the medical team.
