St. Anthony North Hospital in Westminster, CO, seeks an outpatient Occupational Therapist to deliver comprehensive rehab services for neuromuscular and orthopaedic patients, promoting optimal health and recovery.

Located in Westminster, our hospital delivers patient-centered care and a continuum of services. You will assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and use modalities, manual therapy, and neuromuscular re-education to maximize independence in daily activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is required.
• Current state licensure in occupational therapy upon hire or within three months as required by the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients referred to occupational therapy by completing initial evaluations within department time standards.
• Applies diagnostic and prognostic testing for musculoskeletal, neurological and neuromuscular conditions.
• Evaluates patients and develops treatment plans with specific goals, reassessing as needed and making disposition recommendations.
• Utilizes sensorimotor, neuromuscular reeducation, recreational and social activities to foster independence in activities of daily living.
• Applies ADL training, home safety assessment, compensatory techniques and equipment, neuromuscular and sensory reeducation, motor coordination, energy conservation, functional mobility, positioning, splinting and hand therapy techniques.
• Performs evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient.
