Job summary

St. Anthony North Hospital is seeking an outpatient Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive rehab services for neuromuscular and orthopedic conditions.

You will deliver mobility training, strengthening, manual therapy and neuromuscular re-education, creating individualized plans to maximize patient function and recovery. You will evaluate patients, develop goals, and implement evidence-based interventions while coordinating with the care team to ensure optimal outcomes and patient

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in OT required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association required.
• Current state licensure in occupational therapy upon hire or within three months as required by the state

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients referred to occupational therapy per department protocol.
• Applies diagnostic and prognostic testing for musculoskeletal, neurological, and neuromuscular conditions.
• Develops and modifies treatment plans with specific goals to maximize function.
• Uses sensorimotor, neuromuscular reeducation, recreational and social activities to promote independence in ADLs.
• Delivers a range of therapeutic interventions including ADL training, home safety education, and hand therapy techniques.
• Performs best-practice interventions addressing rehabilitation needs of each patient.
