Job summary

Copperfield Healthcare & Rehabilitation in Houston, TX is seeking a full-time Outpatient Occupational Therapist to join our in-house rehab program. This post-acute facility serves geriatric patients with long- and short-term care needs.

You'll work with residents in designated communities, delivering rehabilitative services with an emphasis on fall prevention, mobility, and wellness, while avoiding home health paperwork. Open to OTs of all experience levels, including new grads.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapist license is required.
• Open to OTs at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients and develop care plans.
• Provide rehabilitative and medically necessary treatment interventions.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility training.
• Perform wound care and manual techniques as part of therapy.
• Offer counseling to patients and families regarding physical disorders.
• Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries in compliance with regulations.
