Presbyterian Outpatient is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). In this role, you will be supervised by a Physical Therapist and will apply a variety of therapeutic interventions for the rehabilitation of physical, psycho-social, and developmental disorders.

Treat patients with a wide variety of therapeutic interventions aimed at rehabilitation of function/occupation and developmental disorders. Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles over the lifespan of patients. Oversee and ensure a comprehensive rehabilitation program designed to meet the physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and environmental well-being of patients. Promote patient/caregiver self-determination by optimizing outside resource utilization to achieve the highest level of independence. Coordinate and communicate with various disciplines involved in patient care. Coordinate efforts toward discharge goals established at initial evaluation and during the episode of care. Act as a patient advocate. Other duties as assigned.
Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistance.
Certification for Occupational Therapy Assistant.
BLS Certification required at the time of hire.
