Job summary

Weisman Children's Rehabilitation Hospital in Pennsauken, NJ seeks a Full-Time Outpatient Occupational Therapist to join a pediatric team focused on comprehensive, family-centered care.

You will provide OT services to children birth to 21 in an outpatient setting, aligning with interdisciplinary practices and evidence-based techniques. The role emphasizes collaboration, creativity, and ongoing learning within a supportive clinical environment.

Qualifications

• MA/MS/MOT in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA-accredited program.
• NJ OT licensure or eligibility for licensure.
• 1–2 years pediatric OT experience.
• Experience treating sensory processing disorders in outpatient setting preferred.
• Experience with neurological and vestibular diagnoses preferred; willing to train.
• CPR certification.
• Strong organizational/time management skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well as a team member.

Responsibilities

• OT is an integral member of the Interdisciplinary Team, administering appropriate pediatric rehabilitation techniques for ages birth to 21.
• Adheres to scope and standards of practice per American Occupational Therapy Association.
• Uses creativity, professional judgment, and problem-solving to achieve quality outcomes.
• Participates in patient and family teaching and collaborates with other disciplines.
• Facilitates functional performance through integration of physical, play, social-emotional, sensory, motor, and cognitive skills.

We are recruiting for a Full-Time Outpatient OccupationalTherapist to join our skilled team of pediatric professionals in Pennsauken,NJ. This position is benefit eligible.

POSITION SUMMARY:

• The Occupational Therapist isan integral member of the Interdisciplinary Team, responsible for the administrationof appropriate treatment techniques and modalities for pediatricrehabilitation of children aged birth to 21
• Responsible for adherence tothe scope and standards of practice as defined by the AmericanOccupational Therapy Association
• Uses creativity, professionaljudgment, and problem solving techniques to achieve quality outcomes.
• Participates in patient andfamily teaching and works collaboratively with other disciplines.
• TheOT plays an integral role in facilitating functional performance throughthe integration of physical skills, play based activities,social-emotional development, sensory processing, motor performance, andcognitive abilities.
