Job summary

WellSpan Health’s outpatient OBGYN clinic in York, PA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to support patient care in a fast-paced environment. The role focuses on screening, triage, and assisting the care team with procedures and education.

You will work days/evenings on-site, with a full-time schedule and 1.0 FTE. Candidates should have an LPN credential, 1 year of clinical nursing experience, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Diploma Program Certificate of completion from an accredited LPN program.
• Associate Degree Certificate of completion from an accredited LPN program.
• 1 year clinical nursing experience.
• Licensed Practical Nurse license (PA) or multi-state license; Basic Life Support required.

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient history and gathers information.
• Performs specialized procedures and tests as ordered, with IV certification when applicable.
• Ensures patient care areas are stocked with supplies and medications.
• Relays information between provider and patient; reinforces health education.
• Evaluates patient status and directs to appropriate level of care; documents results.
• Maintains patient records and adheres to HIPAA.
