Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for an Advanced Practitioner to join the OB/GYN team at Piedmont Cartersville. This full-time outpatient role focuses on patient care in a clinic setting, under physician supervision.

The position requires experience in Women’s Health, NP/PA credentials, and Georgia licensure. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule with potential after-hours pager coverage and comprehensive Piedmont benefits.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in a Women’s Health setting.
• Master’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited PA program and National Board Certification.
• Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as an NP by the State of Georgia with National Certification.
• Certified Nurse-Midwife preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with care of patients in the clinic.
• Communicate patient condition changes to physician and coordinate care.
• Interact with nursing staff, pharmacy, radiology and other service lines in hospital.
• May cover the service pager after hours occasionally.
