Mercy Cedar Rapids is seeking an Outpatient Nurse Manager II to coordinate and oversee patient care across outpatient services. You will lead nursing teams, ensure evidence-based practice, and partner with physicians and staff to deliver high-quality, cost-conscious care aligned with Mercy’s mission.

Required: BSN and Iowa RN licensure with BLS; three years clinical experience and two years management/leadership preferred.

Formación

• Three years clinical experience required.
• Two years management or leadership experience preferred.
• Bachelor's in science of nursing required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse in Iowa or compact state required.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure accurate and clinically relevant information is communicated during hand-offs and other times as needed.
• Take measures to ensure necessary information is communicated to enable the best patient outcomes.
• Ensure high quality and safe patient care using evidence-based practice and performance improvement.
• Identify quality improvement opportunities based on quality metrics.
• Manage customer complaints in a timely and caring manner.
• Evaluate patient experience scores and drive physician satisfaction.
• Conduct regular staff meetings and maintain accurate job descriptions and performance standards.
• Develop and implement plans to recognize outstanding individuals or teams.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives and measure process variation.
• Contribute to budgets and cash flow planning; manage resources efficiently.
• Lead interdepartmental collaboration and participate in organizational initiatives.
