Job summary

Massachusetts licensure as LPN or RN is required; CPR certification must be current or obtained within 90 days. Strong written and verbal communication in a diverse team is essential; prior substance use/mental health or acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse licensure.
• CPR certification current or within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to use independent judgment in emergencies.
• Strong written and oral communication in a diverse setting.
• Experience in substance use/mental health or acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as outlined in policy.
• Control, count, and document onsite medications.
• Educate clients on medication use, purpose and side effects.
• Verify orders with physician and transcribe orders.
• Assist in admission and document substance use diagnoses as required.
