Job summary

Spectrum Health Systems, Inc. in Massachusetts is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) for outpatient treatment programs located in correctional facilities. This part-time role is 32 hours per week with every-other-weekend requirements.

Pay is $36.50/hour for LPN and $38.50/hour for RN, with a $3.00/hour weekend differential. Benefits include health/dental/vision, life insurance, PTO, tuition reimbursement, 401k with 7% match, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be MA-licensed LPN or RN.
• Current CPR certificate or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment in emergencies.
• Proficient written and verbal communication in a culturally diverse setting.
• Experience in substance abuse/mental health or acute inpatient healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications per policy and supervise documentation.
• Verify orders with physicians and transcribe orders.
• Educate clients on medication assisted treatment and side effects.
• Assist in admission processes and document substance use diagnoses.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support clients.
