Job summary

Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Kentucky is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive health assessments, diagnose, and manage care in collaboration with physicians across all services. The position is full-time (80 hours per pay) with first shift, late days on Tuesdays, and 36 hours of patient-facing time weekly.

Qualifications

• State of Ohio Certificate to practice as a Certified Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist.
• State of Ohio Certificate to Prescribe.
• Federal DEA Registration Number.
• CPR - approved by the American Heart Association
• ACLS - approved by the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Coordinates care with Physicians and other Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants.
• Performs and documents history and physical examinations of acute care patients.
• Initiates and implements patient education and plan of care.
• Maintains acceptable standards of patient care.
• Administers medications and intravenous solutions skillfully and correctly.
