Job summary

UNM Hospital in Albuquerque is seeking a nursing supervisor to provide clinical leadership on the Day shift within the Urology department. You will assign nurses and technicians, monitor attendance, and ensure staffing meets patient census, while modelling high standards of patient care.

You will supervise staff, coordinate care plans, and act as a clinical resource for the team, physician colleagues, and hospital leadership.

Qualifications

• Program Graduate
• Bachelor's Degree
• Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
• Nursing
• 2 years directly related experience
• Bilingual English/Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
• CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers w/in 30 days

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing and technician staff within designated shift
• Assign staff and monitor attendance and scheduling
• Ensure adequate staff to meet patient census
• Promote a positive work environment and quality patient care
• Supervise staff and ensure adherence to policies and procedures
• Act as a clinical resource and liaison among departments
• Deliver safe direct care and delegate tasks per care plan
