Job summary

The Ohio State University Physicians, Inc. seeks a Float Pool Supervisor, RN, to lead daily operations of the outpatient nursing float pool across ambulatory care settings. You will supervise staff, manage scheduling, and ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

You will collaborate with clinic leadership, providers, and safety teams to maintain clinical excellence and patient satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing from CCNE/ACEN accredited program.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train, onboard, and mentor nursing staff.
• Schedule staffing to ensure appropriate coverage.
• Manage payroll, attendance, and time-off requests.
• Conduct performance evaluations and staff development.
• Collaborate with leadership to address performance concerns.
