AdvantageCare Physicians (ACPNY) is seeking an outpatient neurology trained physician to deliver high-quality care to adults with diverse neurological conditions in the New York metropolitan area.

The physician will perform comprehensive neurological evaluations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop personalized treatment plans in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Qualifikationen

• MD or DO degree.
• Completion of 4-year post-graduate medical training from an ACGME or AOA accredited program.
• Board Certified or Eligible in Neurology Medicine.
• Active NY State medical license.
• Active DEA registration or eligible.
• Active Medicare/Medicaid enrollment or eligible.
• BLS or ACLS.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Microsoft Office.

Aufgaben

• Conduct comprehensive neurological examinations, medical history taking, and cognitive assessments to diagnose neurological diseases.
• Treat a wide range of brain and nervous system conditions including stroke, dementia, Parkinson’s, seizures, headaches, and spine-related issues.
• Order and interpret EEG, EMG, nerve conduction studies, MRI, and CT scans to aid diagnosis.
• Develop personalized treatment plans including medications, therapy referrals, and lifestyle modifications.
• Monitor for behavioral and cognitive side effects and communicate results to patients and families.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and coordinate care with other specialists.
