Job summary

ANC in Fort Collins, CO, seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to join the outpatient neurology team. You will evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a variety of neurological needs in a collaborative setting with general and specialty neurologists.

Responsibilities include performing neurologic examinations, injections, prescribing medications, infusions, and coordinating care with other specialists. Training in neurology is provided, with an emphasis on compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Up-to-date Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct patient-care experience.
• Current Colorado state NP/PA license or ability to obtain one.
• Current federal DEA license.
• Professional organization membership is preferred.
• Experience in neurology preferred, but not required; training program provided.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with neurological needs in outpatient setting.
• Perform neurologic history and exams and procedures (injections, nerve blocks).
• Prescribe/administer medications and infusion therapy as needed.
• Monitor treatment side effects and patient response.
• Counsel patients and caregivers on diagnoses and disorders.
• Coordinate care with primary care and other specialists.
• Document patient care journey and respond to urgent situations.
