Job summary

Summa Health is seeking a General Neurologist to join its expanding Outpatient Neurology Service at the Summa Health Neurosciences Institute in Akron, OH. The role involves outpatient practice with an accompanying neurophysiology lab, plus inpatient coverage across neuro-hospitalist, neurocritical care, stroke and epilepsy

Qualifications

• Neurology board certification eligibility
• Current unrestricted license or ability to obtain license to practice in Ohio
• Willingness to participate in teaching, lectures, resident sessions
• Commitment to quality care in a patient-centered, team-based environment

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient neurology care within the Outpatient Neurology Service at Summa Health Neurosciences Institute
• Support inpatient needs with neuro-hospitalist, neurocritical care, stroke and epilepsy monitoring unit coverage
• Engage in teaching, lectures and resident sessions for trainees
• Collaborate with a large referral base and in-house laboratory and radiology services
