Job summary

Intermountain Health in Grand Junction, CO seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an outpatient clinic setting. The role emphasizes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care with a multidisciplinary team under physician leadership.

The position features a Monday–Thursday, 7am–5:30pm shift, with no call, evenings, or weekend work, located at 2635 N 7th Street (4th Floor). A generous benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
• Clinical setting-specific certification (e.g., ACLS, PALS) as required.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain a BSN within five years of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Plan and implement individualized care plans with education for patients and families.
• Direct the care team and delegate tasks in alignment with the plan of care.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and revise plans as needed.
• Maintain professional standards and compliant documentation.
