Job summary

Mamaya Health is seeking a licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our outpatient team as a remote, 1099 contractor. You will provide individual, couples, and family therapy, maintain documentation, and coordinate care with other providers to support client outcomes.

• Master's degree or higher in a mental health field
• Independent licensure in Florida (LCSW, LPC-MHSP, etc)
• Experience in outpatient, intensive outpatient/partial hospitalization, or residential settings
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapies (CBT, DBT, trauma-informed)
• Strong interpersonal and cultural humility

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy.
• Complete timely documentation within established timeframes.
• Coordinate care with team lead and other departments to ensure best practices.
• Manage and maintain an individual book of business and monitor caseload health.
• Routinely utilize measurement-based care to track client outcomes.
• Coordinate care with other providers (e.g., prescribers, PCP, OB‑GYN, dietitian, other therapists).
• Participate in monthly and quarterly leadership meetings.

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, fully licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our outpatient team. Supported by the Outpatient Clinical Team Lead, you will deliver excellent clinical care, uphold our mission and values, and contribute to a collaborative, client-centered practice.

Job Duties + Functions

• Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy
• Complete timely documentation within Mamaya Health’s established timeframes.
• Collaborate with Team Lead and other departments as needed to ensure best practices and compliance.
• Manage and maintain an individual book of business, monitoring caseload health and proactively addressing key performance indicators
• Routinely utilize measurement-based care, incorporating assessments to track client outcomes and inform treatment.
• Coordinate care with other providers (e.g., medication prescriber, PCP, OB‑GYN, dietitian, other therapists) and family members as appropriate.
• Actively participate in monthly and quarterly meetings with Mamaya Health Leadership

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related mental health field.
• Independently licensed (LCSW, LPC-MHSP, etc) in the state of Florida.
• Prior experience in outpatient, intensive outpatient/partial hospitalization, or residential treatment settings.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapies, including CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed approaches.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to inclusivity and cultural humility.
