Senior Life Solutions in Harlan, IA is hiring an Outpatient Mental Health Therapist to join our Intensive Outpatient Therapy Program for adults 65+. You will work Monday–Friday, 8a–5p, with no weekends or on-call, alongside another therapist in a supportive team.

You’ll provide group therapy as the core approach, supplemented by individual and family sessions. Supervisory support is available for provisionally licensed therapists, counselors, and social workers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a small disciplinary team including a psychiatric physician, RN Director, and medical office coordinator to serve the senior population.

• Maintain Medicare-compliant documentation within designated time frames.
• Provide group therapy as the main modality, plus individual and family sessions as needed.
• Assist with local community education and other duties as assigned.

We’re hiring a master level Therapist / Social Worker / Counselor to join our established Intensive Outpatient Therapy Program, serving older adults in Harlan, IA community since 2019.

Role: Outpatient Mental Health Therapist

Location: Harlan, Iowa (This program has grown, so you would work along side another Therapist!)

Setting: Intensive Outpatient Therapy Program (IOP)

Population: Older Adults, Ages 65+

Salary: Up to $90,000 / year, dependent upon experience

Schedule: Full Time (Monday to Friday, 8a-5p)

*PMC can provide supervision for provisionally licensed Therapists, Counselors, and Social Workers.

You’ll work alongside a collaborative care team providing compassionate mental health support to older adults!

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a small disciplinary team comprised of a psychiatric physician, RN Director, and medical office coordinator providing services to the senior population
• Use evidenced based therapeutic approaches and develop, personalize, and update treatment plans with your team
• Provide compliant documentation based on Medicare guidelines within a designated time-frame
• Our main focus is utilizing group therapy but also include:
• Individual sessions
• Family therapy (as needed)
• Assist with local community education
• Other duties as assigned
