Senior Life Solutions is hiring an Outpatient Mental Health Therapist for our new IOP serving older adults in Scott City, KS. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 8a–5p, with no weekends and PTO benefits.

You will join a collaborative care team providing compassionate mental health support and lead evidence-based treatment planning. The program emphasizes group therapy with options for individual and family sessions, plus community education.

Qualifications

• Licensure in Social Work or Counseling as recognized by the state.
• Must pass a full background check; drug testing may be required.
• Experience with older adults is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a small team to provide services to seniors.
• Develop, personalize, and update treatment plans with the team.
• Document per Medicare guidelines within required time frames.
• Utilize group therapy, plus individual and family sessions as needed.
• Assist with local community education and other duties as assigned.

We’re hiring a master level Therapist / Social Worker / Counselor to join our new Intensive Outpatient Therapy Program, serving older adults in Scott City, KS - this is the newest program in the state of Kansas set to open January 2027 with staff starting in November / 2025!

Role: Outpatient Mental Health Therapist

Location: Scott City, Kansas

Setting: Intensive Outpatient Therapy Program (IOP)

Population: Older Adults, Ages 65+

Salaried + Benefit Eligible!

Schedule: Full Time (Monday to Friday, 8a-5p)

*PMC can provide supervision for provisionally licensed Therapists, Counselors, and Social Workers.

You’ll work alongside a collaborative care team providing compassionate mental health support to older adults!

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a small disciplinary team comprised of a psychiatric physician, RN Director, and medical office coordinator providing services to the senior population
• Use evidenced based therapeutic approaches and develop, personalize, and update treatment plans with your team
• Provide compliant documentation based on Medicare guidelines within a designated time-frame
• Our main focus is utilizing group therapy but also include:
• Individual sessions
• Family therapy (as needed)
• Assist with local community education
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Licensure: License in Social Work or Counseling as recognized by the state; may include LISW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc. – required
