Job summary

VA Manchester seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Outpatient Mental Health (MH) team. The RN provides patient-centered care, triages, educates patients and families, and coordinates with the MH interdisciplinary team. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, with standard federal pay and benefits.

EDRP eligibility is noted for eligible participants. Required: state RN license, graduation from an approved nursing program, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Must have proper nursing license and licensure to practice nursing in the United States.
• English language proficiency is required for direct patient care.
• Graduate of an approved nursing program with valid nursing license.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered and recovery-oriented care in outpatient mental health.
• Coordinate care with inpatient units and interdisciplinary teams.
• Conduct triage assessments and document patient plans of care.
• Perform de-escalation techniques and patient education on illness and treatment.
