We’re seeking an experienced Outpatient Mental Health Director to lead a growing behavioral health program in Seattle. This senior leadership opportunity combines clinical practice with department-level leadership, allowing you to stay connected to patient care while shaping operations, clinical quality, and the future of mental health services.

What You’ll Do
- Lead day-to-day operations of a multi-site outpatient Mental Health Department.
- Maintain a clinical caseload while providing strategic and operational leadership.
- Supervise, mentor, and support the professional development of mental health clinicians.
- Drive quality improvement, clinical standards, compliance, and best practices across multiple care sites.
- Collaborate across medical, dental, behavioral health, human services, and traditional wellness programs to provide integrated care.
- Oversee program budgets, productivity, revenue cycle considerations, grants, and resource utilization.
- Support recruitment and hiring efforts as the behavioral health program continues to grow.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case staffing, leadership meetings, trainings, audits, and program development.
- Help ensure services remain accessible, high-quality, culturally attuned, and aligned with organizational values.

What We’re Looking For
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related qualifying field.
- 5+ years of upper-level mental health management experience.
- Strong experience leading outpatient behavioral health operations; residential oversight experience is a plus.
- Active LICSW license; Washington licensure required within 6 months if not already held.
- Knowledge of Washington behavioral health regulations, licensing, funding, and compliance requirements.
- Experience leading and developing multidisciplinary clinical teams.
- Co-occurring mental health/substance use experience preferred; SUDP certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with the health and social issues impacting American Indian/Alaska Native communities and a genuine interest in serving this population.
- Valid Washington State driver's license and reliable transportation for local meetings.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1.0 FTE structured as four 10-hour shifts per week, including paid time for non-face-to-face care.
Base Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 / Year
