Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join the Primary Care team. You will work under the direction of the primary care operations team, collaborating with providers to deliver safe, timely, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with clinics, documenting in EHR, and participating in training programs such as the MA Clinic Academy. Strong communication and cultural competence are essential for serving diverse populations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Mercy Primary Care Providers to deliver patient-centered care.
• Assist in clinical procedures and routine patient care tasks.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and EHR entries.
• Support a safe and efficient outpatient workflow.
