Job summary

STGi is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide comprehensive clinical and administrative support at the Tupelo Community-Based Outpatient Clinic. The role involves working with the PACT team to ensure accurate documentation, patient check-in/out, and coordination of care under supervision of the clinic manager and STGi program staff.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of an approved medical assistant training program.
• Current and unrestricted MA license in Mississippi.
• CPR/BLS certification from AHA or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Check-in/check-out patients with PACT team.
• Document in EMR and VISTA per patient plans and PMs.
• Provide patient education on plan of care and results.
• Perform MA procedures (dressing changes, venipuncture, ECGs).
• Prepare patients for labs/exams and assist providers.
