Dignity Health Medical Foundation, established as a California nonprofit, is seeking a Medical Assistant to support outpatient clinic operations. You will help prepare patients, document medical records, and assist the healthcare team to maintain efficient patient flow.

In this SEIU-UHW represented role, you will handle vital sign measurements, assist with procedures, and coordinate with pharmacies and insurers for authorizations, contributing to high-quality patient care.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Medical terminology, CPT/ICD-10 knowledge required.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association required.

Aufgaben

• Prepare patients for examinations or procedures.
• Administer prescribed medications and measure vital signs.
• Maintain a sterile, organized clinical environment.
• Enter EMR data and document patient charts.
• Communicate patient concerns to physicians/APPs.
• Coordinate with pharmacies and insurance for medication authorizations.
