Penn State Health is seeking an attentive Medical Assistant to support outpatient care operations. You will assist with healthcare services, obtain specimens, and help with routine lab work, while also coordinating patient flow and scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification/registration as CMA or RMA required within 90 days of employment or active CMA/RMA status.
• BLS certification required or to be obtained within 6 months of employment.

Responsabilités

• Assist with health care services and specimen collection.
• Conduct routine lab studies of specimens.
• Coordinate patient flow, schedule appointments, and manage phone messages.

Formation

High School diploma or equivalent

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
