BHMG Baptist Health Medical Group Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care and clinical support in an outpatient clinic.

Responsibilities include obtaining vital signs, reconciling medications, collecting patient history, and facilitating patient flow. The role supports EPIC EMR management, appointment scheduling, medication requests, prior authorizations, and coordination of tests and procedures.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical office, clinic or similar setting.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant training program including hands-on patient experience.
• Must complete MA orientation and clinical competency assessment on hire.
• BLS from American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• BAT and DOT certifications required within 90 days of hire for Occupational Medicine MA.

Responsabilidades

• Obtain vital signs and document patient information.
• Reconcile medications and review medical histories.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
• Coordinate tests and procedures and process medication requests.
• Assist with EKG, lab tests, injections or phlebotomy upon competency.
