BHMG Occupational Medicine Charlestown, IN seeks a Full Time Medical Assistant to support providers in outpatient clinic, perform vital signs, history, and medication reconciliation, and assist with EPIC.

Responsibilities include checking in patients, coordinating tests and prior authorizations, and providing clinical support such as injections or phlebotomy while maintaining efficient patient flow. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Direct patient care experience in a clinical setting.
• Vital signs collection and medication reconciliation.
• Experience using EMR systems, preferably EPIC.
• BLS certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients, obtain vitals, and reconcile medications.
• Document patient history and clinical information.
• Navigate EPIC and coordinate care with providers.
• Coordinate tests, prior authorizations, and referrals.
• Provide injections or phlebotomy as needed.
