Job summary

Revere Health is seeking a Medical Assistant or CNA to join our outpatient clinical care team. You will perform a balance of clinical and administrative duties, including rooming patients, recording vital signs, drawing blood or collecting labs, assisting providers with exams, and updating EMR.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, with strong communication skills. We are willing to train the right candidate in phlebotomy, in-house labs, and injections.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
• Understanding of venipuncture, site selection and specimen labeling standards for blood draws.
• Ability to schedule patient appointments.
• Experience managing patient records with electronic health record (EHR) software.
• Familiarity with vital signs equipment (BP cuff, stethoscope, thermometer).
• Ability to administer CPR in emergencies.
• Familiarity with privacy, safety and infection control laws and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs: blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, respiration before exams.
• Draw blood and prepare specimens for testing.
• Administer vaccines or other injections as directed by a provider.
• Assist with patient examinations and minor procedures.
• Schedule visits and manage electronic health records.
