Job summary

Tufts Medicine is hiring an LPN Outpatient to provide professional nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse in an outpatient setting in Melrose, MA. You will participate in the nursing process, collect data, and deliver assigned patient care with emphasis on safety, dignity, and patient education.

Minimum qualifications include Massachusetts LPN license and Basic Life Support; CPR Instructor preferred. Hours are 40/week, Monday–Friday, with sign-on bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts LPN license is required.
• Experience depends on unit needs.
• Basic Life Support Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Applies nursing plan of care under RN guidance.
• Delivers direct patient care within the primary nursing model.
• Administers medications and performs procedures per policy.
• Assesses and documents patient pain and response to treatment.
• Communicates changes in patient condition to RN promptly.
• Maintains professional practice and participates in ongoing education.
