Job summary

CCMC Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV seeks an outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse to support physicians and provide direct patient care in a fast-paced clinic.

You will hold a current LPN license, obtain Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire, and work a Day shift on a 40-hour, outpatient schedule. The role involves vitals, med administration, and coordinating patient flow with the care team.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of service or multi-state license via eNLC.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care to outpatients in a medical office setting.
• Uses standards of care and practice to guide care delivery.
• Administers IM, subcutaneous, and oral medications as ordered.
• Consults with Provider or RN for care guidance as needed.
• Records vital signs and relevant data in the medical record.
• Assists Providers and RN with examinations and procedures.
• Provides emotional support to patients and families.
• Coordinates with staff to ensure smooth clinic flow.
