Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for an outpatient clinic in Niles, OH. The role is 32–40 hours per week, on-site, with a pay rate of $37.17/hr and potential for permanent hire depending on performance and business needs.

The position requires an active LPN/LVN license, BLS, and 1+ year of healthcare experience. Training is provided, and some travel to nearby clinics may be required.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPN or LVN license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification.
• 1+ year of healthcare experience.
• Experience with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing.

Responsibilities

• Administer oral, injectable, intravenous, and topical medications.
• Perform routine patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Identify and document abnormalities in blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and temperature.
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and document clinical findings.
• Perform or assist with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing.
• Document patient medical history, medications, allergies, surgeries, and other relevant information in the EMR.
• Conduct medication reviews and identify potential side effects or drug interactions.
• Provide patient education related to self-care and disease management.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinic environment.
