Interior Community Health Center in Alaska is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join our outpatient clinic team. The ideal candidate will perform initial interviews, collect vital signs, and prepare patients for providers while maintaining accurate medical records and patient education.

Responsibilities include triage, assisting with procedures, equipment preparation, inventory, and supportive training for staff.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy, injections and IV procedures knowledge required.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with medical software.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsabilités

• Perform initial patient interviews and collect basic vital signs.
• Complete clinical forms and record information in medical records.
• Prepare patients and equipment for providers.
• Triaged patients and directed to appropriate care levels.
• Assist with procedures and maintain exam rooms.
• Inventory medications and sterilize instruments.
• Provide patient education and support training for staff.
