Job summary

Huntsville Hospital is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care under supervision, following established policies and plans of care. The role includes reinforcing patient education and proper documentation of care, while collaborating with the care team to ensure quality outcomes.

The successful candidate will hold current Alabama (or multi-state) licensure; BLS certification is required before the orientation period ends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of State board School of Practical Nursing with current Alabama or multi-state licensure.
• Experienced/New Graduate
• BLS required before the conclusion of the orientation period.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a registered nurse or provider.
• Implement technical nursing procedures according to plan of care and policies.
• Assist and reinforce routine patient education and document care.
• Communicate with the care team to support quality patient outcomes.
