Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health System in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing care under supervision of the office manager or physician. The role supports clinic personnel and patients with clinic operations and care delivery.

The LPN will participate in patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, and documentation while maintaining a safe environment and collaborating with health system staff.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Participates in assessment of patient
• Collaborates with care teams to develop patient plans
• Administers medications as ordered by physician
• Maintains accurate patient records and documentation
• Provides direct nursing care according to the plan of care
• Assists with clinic functions and patient flow
• Ensures a safe environment for patients and staff
• Recognizes life-threatening situations and responds promptly
• Adheres to licensure and facility policies
• Maintains required competencies and participates in performance improvement
